Nurse saying my type 2 diabetes level has returned and I have to watch my food and sugar levels and exercise. 6.4 should be around 6. I gave her a really hard time.

I am kind of angry about this. Once again they are telling me to exercise. EXERCISE!

And diet and watch what I eat. FFS! What do they want from me? What do you have for breakfast? Oats and raisins and a few walnuts with one spoon of brown sugar. Maybe don’t have the spoon of sugar! FFS! Have brown bread! AGH! FFS!

The symptoms of diabetes include feeling very thirsty, passing more urine than usual, and feeling tired all the time.

The symptoms occur because some or all of the glucose stays in your blood and isn’t used as fuel for energy. Your body tries to get rid of the excess glucose in your urine.

The main symptoms, which are common to both type 1 diabetesand type 2 diabetes, are:

urinating more often than usual, particularly at night
feeling very thirsty
feeling very tired
unexplained weight loss
cuts or wounds that heal slowly
blurred vision – caused by the lens of the eye becoming dry.
