As flies to wanton boys we are for the gods, they kill us for their sport,Soon the science will not only be able to slow down the ageing of the cells, soon the science will fix the cells to the state and so we will become eternal. Only accidents, crimes, wars, will still kill us but unfortunately, crimes, wars, will multiply. I love football.

The Day We Meet Again

The Moody Blues

The day we meet again
I’ll be waiting there
I’ll be waiting there for you
Cos the years have been so lonely
Like a dog without a home
It’s dangerous when you find out
You’ve been drinking on your own
The day we meet again
We will walk in peace
Thru the garden down the road
Where the mist of time is lifting
See it rising in the air
Like the shadow I was chasing
When I looked it wasn’t there
Oh no
But just in case you’re wondering
What was really on my mind
It wasn’t what you took my love
It’s what you left behind
And just in case you’re wondering
Will it really be the same
You know we’re only living for
The day me meet again
So hold on – and don’t let go
Time heals – you know – I know
The day we meet again
I’ll be waiting there
I’ll be waiting there for you
Cos the years have been so lonely
Like a dog without a home
It’s dangerous when you find out
You’ve been drinking on your own
The day we meet again
We will walk in peace
Thru the garden down the road
Where the mist of time is lifting
See it rising in the air
Like the shadow I was chasing
When I looked it wasn’t there
Hold on baby don’t let go

Everybody’s Talkin

Harry Nilsson

Everybody’s talking at me
I don’t hear a word they’re saying
Only the echoes of my mind

People stopping, staring
I can’t see their faces
Only the shadows of their eyes

I’m going where the sun keeps shining
Through the pouring rain
Going where the weather suits my clothes

Banking off of the northeast winds
Sailing on a summer breeze
And skipping over the ocean like a stone

I’m going where the sun keeps shining
Through the pouring rain
Going where the weather suits my clothes

Banking off of the northeast winds
Sailing on a summer breeze
And skipping over the ocean like a stone

Everybody’s talking at me
Can’t hear a word they’re saying
Only the echoes of my mind

I won’t let you leave my love behind
No, I won’t let you leave
Wah, wah
I won’t let you leave my love behind

Take The Long Way Home

Supertramp

So you think you’re a Romeo
playing a part in a picture-show
Take the long way home
Take the long way home

Cos you’re the joke of the neighborhood
Why should you care if you’re feeling good
Take the long way home
Take the long way home

But there are times that you feel you’re part of the scenery
all the greenery is comin’ down, boy
And then your wife seems to think you’re part of the
furniture oh, it’s peculiar, she used to be so nice.

When lonely days turn to lonely nights
you take a trip to the city lights
And take the long way home
Take the long way home

You never see what you want to see
Forever playing to the gallery
You take the long way home
Take the long way home

And when you’re up on the stage, it’s so unbelievable,
unforgettable, how they adore you,
But then your wife seems to think you’re losing your sanity,
oh, calamity, is there no way out?

Does it feel that you life’s become a catastrophe?
Oh, it has to be for you to grow, boy.
When you look through the years and see what you could
have been oh, what might have been,
if you’d had more time.

So, when the day comes to settle down,
Who’s to blame if you’re not around?
You took the long way home
You took the long way home

Medicine Jar

Wings

What’s Wrong With You?
I Wish I Knew
You Say Time And Tell
I Hope That’s True
There’s More To Life Than Blues And Reds
I Say, I Know How You Feel,
Now Your Friends Are Dead.

Dead On Your Feet, You Won’t Get Far
If You Keep On Sticking Your Hand
In The Medicine Jar.

Now Don’t Give Up
Whatever You Do
You Say Time Will Tell
I Hope That’s True
If You Go Down And Lose Your Head
I Say, I Know How You Feel
Now Your Friends Are Dead.

Dead On Your Feet, You Won’t Get Far
If You Keep On Sticking Your Hand
In The Medicine Jar.

Dead On Your Feet . . . . .

What Can I Do?
I Can’t Let Go
You Say Time Will Heal
But Very Slow
So Don’t Forget The Things You Said
I Say I Know How You Feel
Now Your Friends Are Dead.

Dead On Your Feet, You Won’t Get Far
If You Keep On Sticking Your Hand
In The Medicine Jar.

Letting Go

Wings

Ah, she tastes like wine
Such a human being, so divine
oh, she feels like sun
Mother nature look at what you’re done
Oh, I feel like letting go
Oh, I feel like letting go

Ah, she looks like snow
I want to put her in a broadway show
Ah, she’ll dance and dine
Like a Lucifer she’ll always shine
Oh, I feel like letting go
Oh, I feel like letting go
Oh, I feel like letting go

Ah, she sings it so
I want to put her on the radio
One day and there you are
Ladies and gentleman
A brand new star
Oh, I feel like letting go
Oh, I feel like letting go

Spurs 0 Newcastle 1

Joelinton scored his first goal for Newcastle as Spurs stuttered to a 1-0 defeat on home soil.

Despite continued pressure from the hosts, the Magpies held firm to secure a priceless away victory as Spurs tasted defeat for the first time this season.

Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino recalled Moussa Sissoko to the starting XI with Tanguy Ndombele out, while new signing Giovani Lo Celso and Christian Eriksen had to settle for a place on the bench.

Certainly, the home side had no problem in getting on the ball in the opening quarter of an hour, dominating with 70 per cent possession. But Newcastle’s 5-4-1 setup was proving hard to penetrate.

Their best chance came when Lucas Moura put Heung-min Son through on goal and the South Korean went down under a challenge from Fabian Schar.

Mike Dean was unmoved, and the VAR check failed to identify a “clear and obvious error”, so play continued.

Sure enough, it was Newcastle who looked more threatening as Sean Longstaff rifled an effort from 20 yards and Lloris had to be on hand to tip it over.

Substitute Christian Atsu, who replaced the injured Allan Saint-Maximin, chipped in a delightful ball to Joelinton, Davinson Sanchez missed the interception and the Brazilian slotted past Lloris.

Spurs had gone 33 minutes without mustering a shot, but nearly scored with their first attempt. Kyle Walker-Peters sent a cross to the far post and Son’s volley was tipped away by Martin Dubravka.

Lucas had a chance to equalise in first-half stoppage time after a clever cross from Harry Kane, but the Brazilian couldn’t find the target.

After the interval, Spurs found themselves up against a Newcastle blockade on the edge of their own box but struggled to breach the backline, with Pochettino sending on Eriksen and Lo Celso in an attempt to turn things around.

The hosts looked to be out of ideas until Kane was sent through on goal with Jamaal Lascelles alongside him.

The Newcastle captain tripped over and wiped out the striker in the penalty area, but to Spurs amazement, Mike Dean didn’t point to the spot.

A VAR check looked certain to award the penalty, but the original decision stood.

Seconds after, Eriksen delivered a perfect cross that Lucas looked poised to put away, only for the Brazilian to blaze over the bar.

But time was against Spurs and despite a number of attempts at goal, Newcastle held on for an unlikely victory – the first of the Steve Bruce era.
